Winteris here.Which means we all are ready to sport all the snuggly
looks. From warm colors to wool accessories, we are gonna wear it all. Oh and
not to forget all the variety of boots! Winter truly is my favorite season. The
most exciting festivities like Christmas and Thanksgiving fall in this season
as well. Not considering the Australians when I make this claim, though. There
is some kind of magic in the air in this season. From winter wonderlands to the
streets and stores bathing in beautiful lights, everything is a treat for the
eyes to watch in winters. The big companies come up with special discounts to
share the joy and happiness with its customers. Like my service provider came
up with cheap Xfinity Double Play plans. Which means I can watch more of
shows and fashion shows at a lower price this season.
Speaking of which reminds me of some of the very famous fashion looks
that were sported in recent fashion shows. So, here’s your guide to dressing up
this winter season:
Wear ‘Em Animal Prints
Animal prints were all the rage this season. They were prowling over
an immense amount of runways. This included the NYC, Milan, London, and Paris
runways. And among all the animal prints, Leopard prints were the most
prominent of them all. From leopard print shoes to leopard print coats, the
models sported all the looks. This also happens in the most famous way in which
this print is sported. Although, leopard print bags are famous among
celebrities as well. But the love that designers and celebs have for the
leopard print shoes and coats cannot be beaten. Apart from this, other animal
prints that were famous on runways were:
- Zebra
- Cheetah
- Python patterns
50 Shades of Brown
A color that was very prominent and sported by renowned designers was
brown. The designers who came up with brown themed clothes included:
From brown leather jackets to brown and beige accessories, there was a
hint of brown in almost every runway. Oh, and brown leather pants were a thing
as well.
Slouchy Boots
The varieties that boots come in are just too many. Some of the many
are:
- Cowboy boots
- Knee-high boots
- Ankle boots
- High heel wedge boots
And the list can go on and on for pages. Anyhow, boots are a favorite
among ladies in the winter season. The runways told a similar story. From plain
to animal print boots, the models were spotted sporting them all. However, the
most famous was the slouchy boots. You might not be familiar with them But they
are a thing. Call it a 70s revival but slouchy boots will be all the rage this
winter season. One reason that they are very famous is the ease with which
women can tuck their jeans and trousers in them. From Alberta Ferretti to
Givenchy, many designers sported this rather slouchy look.
A Very Crystal-y Affair
Let’s talk gems!
It was a very crystal-y affair at the runways this time. From shades
to shows to accessories, crystals were like the showstoppers. Gucci introduced
a sneaker with a crystal strap. And others came up with crystal accessories. To
say that there is a crystal item to suit every taste won’t be wrong. From Nina
Ricci Christopher Kane, every designer introduced his own version of the crystal-laden
item(s).
Another very famous look that the designers sported on these runways
was the denim look. And it was seen in the following variations:
The Double Waist
The future is all about sporting multiple waistbands. The waistbands
come in the following variations:
- Extended midsections
- Sewn over one another
- Mid waist cut-outs
Brands are actually experimenting with where a waist begins. And where
it ends, in that case. And with these variations comes different styles of tops
that you can pair them up with.
Flaunt ‘Em Legs
Another trendy jean wear look is to flaunt them legs through the
flared jeans. So, you want to opt for one of the following styles to sport this
look:
- Snap-button jeans
- Cut-out flares
Seeing Double
The Frankenstein trend is back this winter!
So you get to choose a two-tone pair of jeans. Just to make it clear
to you, one leg dyed in one color. And the other leg dyed in another tone.
Yeah, that’s what this look is all about.
The Jungle Look
While the animal print is all the rage this season, the jean trends
tell a similar tale. From leopard to cheetah prints, denim is sporting it all.
And if you wish to make a big statement, snakeskin print should be your go-to
option.
Wide Leg
Wide leg trousers were quite a thing in summers. The winters have it
no different. If not the thin material trousers, you can wear wide legged denim
trousers this winter. So, free your legs. Pair your wide legged jeans with a
boho crop top. And you are ready to go.
Flared
Flares are not only famous in tops. Flared jeans are a thing. And you
would want to wear them this winter season. So, get ready to sport this retro
look. However, the challenge is to choose the right amount of flare to suit
your height and size.
Sporty
Get ready to embrace the sporty jeans. Because they are going to be
everywhere this winter season. These track pant inspired style looks rather
chic. And gives you a very cool and sporty look.
