The United Nations peacekeepers have affirmed the presence of a passage in northern Israel close to the Lebanese outskirt, days after Tel Aviv blamed furnished gathering Hezbollah for burrowing under the boondocks.

In an announcement on Thursday, the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said it “visited an area close Metula in northern Israel” and “can affirm the presence of a passage at the area”.

UNIFIL said it is “locked in with the gatherings to seek after critical follow-up activity” and “will convey its fundamental discoveries to the fitting experts in Lebanon”.

The affirmation by the UN came multi day after Lebanon said Israel displayed no proof to demonstrate its cases of a system of assault burrows supposedly worked by Hezbollah.

In a gathering with UN peacekeepers on Wednesday, Lebanon parliament’s Speaker Nabih Berri said the Israeli allegation did not depend on “any genuine actualities whatsoever”.
